The Commercial Section of the American Embassy in Nicosia is organizing a delegation to visit the US pavilion at the Defense Exhibition (DEFEA) at the Metropolitan Expo Center in Athens, Greece, on May 9 to 11, 2023. According to a press release from the Embassy, DEFEA is a high-profile international defense exhibition where well-known companies from all over the world present land, naval, aerospace, national and cyber security defense systems. It is organized under the auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of National Defense with the cooperation of the Hellenic Manufacturers Association of Defense Material. The U.S. pavilion is organized by the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce (AmChamGR) in collaboration with the US Embassy in Athens and the Association of the United States Army (AUSA). The Commercial Section of the US Embassy in Nicosia, in conjunction with the Foreign Commercial Service of the US Embassy in Athens, calls anyone interested to join the Cypriot delegation either as a conference attendee or as an exhibitor at the US Pavilion. “Leading American defense companies such as Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems, Boeing, General Atomics, and Erickson will showcase their latest technologies, advanced solutions, and defense systems. As a member of the official US Embassy delegation, participants can benefit from exclusive business-to-business matchmaking service (B2B), assistance with setting up meetings with US companies and exhibitors, come in direct contact, network, attend official events, exchange ideas with participating US companies, and consult with U.S. Commercial Service Trade Specialists”, the Embassy notes.
