Foreign and Expatriates Minister Fayssal Mikdad said that the US illegitimate presence in Syrian al-Jazeera is doomed to vanishing and the occupied regions will return to the authority of the Syrian State.

“QSD separatist militia should realize that the US occupation will leave our land and abandon the militia,” Mikdad told Syrian Satellite TV in an interview broadcast on Wednesday.

Mikdad affirmed that the Syrian policy’s priorities are firm, and “when enemies of Syria failed to target it or affect its principled stances, they resorted to the terrorist war.”

The Foreign Minister said that support for the Palestinian cause is a Syrian firm stance and liberating the occupied Syrian Golan is of a top priority for the Syrian policy.

Mikdad added that there is communication with most Arab countries, and the US attempts to hinder this through exerting pressure on states that contact with Syria.
