The US Embassy in Cairo announced that Ambassador Daniel Rubinstein has assumed duties as Chargé d’Affaires, ad interim, to Egypt.
Rubinstein will assume responsibility as the Charge d’Affaires to Egypt as of today, the embassy said in a press release.
He served previously as ambassador to Tunisia from 2015 to 2019.
