Clear skies with a rise in temperature are expected today in Palestine to become slightly above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD). Winds are southwesterly to westerly, light to moderate, gets active at times, and sea waves are low to medium. Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 20°C and a low of 10°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 19°C and a low of 9°C are expected. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 15°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 13°C in Gaza and the coastal areas. However, temperature drops again on Wednesday to become 2°C below the seasonal average with a chance of scattered rain over some areas. Another drop in temperature is expected for Thursday to become 5°C below the seasonal average with a chance of rainfall, mainly in the northern and central areas of Palestine. Temperature rises again on Friday but remains 5°C below the seasonal average below, said the PMD.
