Weather on Thursday is mild with a significant rise in temperature, becoming around its annual average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Wind is southwesterly to westerly, light to moderate. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 17°C and a low of 10°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 16°C and a low of 9°C are expected. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 16°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 21°C and a low of 14°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Another rise in temperature is expected on Friday to become slightly above the seasonal average.

A cold low-pressure front is expected to affect Palestine on Saturday and Sunday, with a signficiant drop in temperature and cold conditions with rain, thunderstorms, said the PMD, which warned people of floods in valleys and low areas, mainly in the eastern parts of the country, slippery roads and low horizontal visibility.
