With the participation of Syria, activities of the Arab Travel Market (ATM DUBAI 2022) exhibition kicked off on Monday.

The Syrian pavilion includes several participations for international hotels, travel and tourism offices, the Syrian Transport and Tourism Company, and some private companies, in addition to Cham Wings Airlines pavilion.

Assistant Minister of Tourism, Ghiath al-Farrah told SANA correspondent in Dubai that the exhibition is one of the most important pillars in the Arab travel market, noting that the Syrian participation is the third in the exhibition, which started in 2019 and suspended in 2021 due to the Corona pandemic.

Al-Farrah hoped that tourists, from different countries, would be encouraged to come to Syria, particularly after putting many Syrian tourist facilities in service and investment, referring in this regard to the efforts exerted by the authorities concerned to restore the archaeological sites and places sabotaged by terrorism.

Nearly 1500 companies and tourist establishments around the world are participating in the exhibition that is held in cooperation with the World Trade Center in Dubai and it will continue until May 12th.
