With participation of Syria, Inter-Parliamentary Union kicks off in Indonesia

Meetings of 144th Inter- Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly kicked off on Sunday in Indonesia with the participation of Syria’s people’s Assembly delegation.

The meetings themed “Getting to Zero, Mobilizing Parliaments to Act on Climate Change” will work to rally world parliaments to take action on climate change as it becomes more and more concerning.

They will also conduct the 209th round of the Governing Council of IPU.
