Damascus, SANA- With the participation of Syrian Scientific Olympiad students, the International Physics Olympiad (IPHO) for 2021, organized by Lithuania remotely, kicked off on july 19th and 21st , with the participation of 370 students from 76 countries around the world.

The Distinction and Creativity Agency said in a statement to SANA that Syrian team, consisting of 5 members, participates in the contest which is conducted in one exam center at the center of Damascus-based Agency over a period of 5 continuous hours between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm, as the first day was specified for practical tests, while the second day was for the theory exams.

The Agency pointed out that the tests deal with broad scientific axes in physics, most notably electricity, magnetism, waves, geometric and wave light, electrical circuits, and modern physics.

This participation is the 8th for the students of the Syrian Scientific Olympiad in the World Physics Olympiad.
