The International Federation of Non-Governmental Organizations (Eurasian People’ Assembly) and the Russian Belgorod State Technological University organized a round table in Moscow, with the participation of Syria, under the title “Eurasian Partnership, New Protocols for Cooperation in the Countries of the Middle East and North Africa”.
Syrian Ambassador in Moscow, Riad Haddad said that the importance of discussions on the Eurasian partnership lies in boosting preparations for the world whose features are currently being drawn up as a result of the courageous decision of the Russian Federation to stop the expansion of NATO and put an end to Western hegemony.
Haddad added that the peoples of the Middle East do not see a better alternative than partnership with Russia and the Eurasian Economic Union to establish balanced relations based on respect for others, especially after experiencing the model presented by the West of destroying countries and looting their resources.
For his part, Secretary-General of the Eurasian Assembly, Secretary-General Andrei Belianinov, indicated that this meeting is being held to discuss topical issues such as food security and scientific, technical, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, which are of particular importance in light of the special Russian military operation.
Rector of Belgorod State Technological University, Sergey Glagolev, referred to the issue of strengthening scientific cooperation with Arab universities in general and Syrian universities in particular, stressing the serious willingness to develop relations between the two sides.
