Worldwide coronavirus death toll passes three million and 886 thousand

Capitals- The novel coronavirus pandemic has claimed the lives of more than 3,886,000 people worldwide since its breakout in December 2019, according to the last statistics by the American Worldometers Website.

The website, which tracks the latest developments of the virus, added that the total number of the coronavirus infections worldwide has reached up to 179,473,183 till now, while 3,886,302 cases have passed away, and the recoveries have climbed to 164,077,205.

The US still tops the worst-affected countries in terms of infections and deaths as it has recorded 617,332 deaths out of 34,415,703 infections.

India comes second with 389,268 deaths out of 29,973,457 infections, then comes Brazil in the third place as it has registered 502,586 deaths out of 17,966,831 infections.
