The Department of Meteorology issued a yellow warning, for very strong to near gale winds, valid for Wednesday from 09:00 until 18:00.
Very strong to near gale winds are expected locally.
Winds are expected to initially blow southwest to west and later west to northwest at an intensity of 6 to 7 Beaufort and locally to 7 Beaufort.
It is clarified that in windward, mainly coastal areas, locally strong to gale winds of intensity 7 to 8 Beaufort are expected in the same direction.
