A young Palestinian man sustained serious injuries today as Israeli occupation forces opened fire on him near the town of Tell, located southwest of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, according to medical sources.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in Nablus said the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition at the young man near the Murabba’a checkpoint, resulting in severe injuries.

Despite the gravity of his condition, the forces reportedly prevented the immediate transfer of the victim to hospital for necessary medical attention.

The widely exccessive use of live ammunition by Israeli occupation forces against Palestinian civilians raises concerns about the impact on the safety of Palestinian living under Israeli military occupation in the occupied territories.
