Minister of Youth Affairs Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfeeqi received the delegation of the Voluntary Paramedic Academy team, following the teams presentation of an intensive training program in Oman, in cooperation with the Oman Environment Agency, concerned with the protection, control and monitoring of sea turtles.
The minister said that Bahrain’s youth have presented an honorable global model in volunteer work by presenting its youth to initiatives that have established their position as an active party in volunteer work at the regional and international levels.
Captain Jamal Al Aziz gave an explanation of the participation of the team in the program that included training workshops, visits to schools and universities, beach cleaning campaigns and training programs in environmental culture, as well as presenting workshops and practical training in first aid for school students and professionals.
The minister expressed her pride in the youth and their great efforts in volunteer work.
