38th Havana Int’l Fair kicks off with the participation of Syria

Havana, SANA- The 38th edition of the Havana International Fair (FIHAV 2022) kicked off in the Cuban capital, in the presence of Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel, and with the participation of 62 countries, including Syria.

Speaking at the opening of the Fair, Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero condemned the illegal embargo imposed by the United States on Cuba

Marrero noted that the large and wide participation in the Havana International Fair shows the international community’s rejection of this embargo, and the confidence of the participating investors, companies and banks in Cuba’s capabilities that will overcome all the difficulties.

The Syrian pavilion at the Havana Fair includes a presentation on the national investment map, which includes a basket of opportunities available in the Syrian provinces, in addition to the elements and advantages of investment in Syria under the new Investment Law No. 18 of 2021, and what it includes of procedural facilities, guarantees and rights for the investors, in addition to customs and tax incentives.
