Ambassador al-Dandah conveys President al-Assad’s congratulations to Iraqi Prime Minister on assuming his duties

Baghdad, SANA- Ways to enhance cooperation relations between Syria and Iraq were the main point of discussion during a meeting that brought together Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani and Syrian Ambassador in Baghdad, Sattam Jadaan al-Dandah.

Ambassador al-Dandah conveyed President Bashar al-Assad’s congratulations to al-Sudani on the occasion of assuming his duties, stressing the importance of developing bilateral relations between the two countries.

Al-Dandah also delivered a cable from Prime Minister Eng. Hussein Arnous to the Iraqi Prime Minister, in which he extended his greetings and congratulations on the occasion of al-Sudani’s assumption of his duties and the formation of the government.

Talks during the meeting touched upon everything that would enhance cooperation between the two countries for the benefit of the brotherly Iraqi and Syrian peoples.
