41 COVID-19 cases, 4 deaths reported in Syria on Saturday

Syria reported on Saturday 41 new COVID-19 cases, in addition to 418 recoveries and 4 deaths, according to Health Ministry.

A statement issued by the Ministry showed that the overall number of infections registered in the country has amounted to 55.329, of which 49.569 have recovered, while 3.114 have passed away.

The first coronavirus case was detected in Syria in March 2020 and the first fatality from the virus was one week later.
