80 new COVID-19 cases, 3 fatalities recorded in Syria

Syria registered on Wednesday 80 new coronavirus cases, 195 recoveries and 4 deaths, according to Health Ministry.

In a statement, the ministry added that the overall number of infections registered in the country has reached up to 54,744, of which 47,525 have recovered, while 3,082 have passed away.

The first coronavirus case was detected in Syria on March 22nd ,2020 in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was registered on the 29th of the same month.
