Shoukry : Syria and Egypt maintain strong ties to preserve the Arab nation security

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt ,Sameh Shoukry , stressed the significant role of Syria and Egypt in maintaining the Arab nation security , referring to his country’s determination to play a key role in helping Syria come out  of  its crisis and restore its Arab importance and position.

 

Shukri said in a telephone intervention with MBS MASR  Channel that his meeting with Foreign and Expatriates Minister , Fayssal  Mikdad, on the sidelines of UN General Assembly meetings in New York “aimed at knowing how Egypt can help Syria get out of its crisis and restore its sovereignty and territorial integrity, adding  that this meeting came after the positive developments been occurred in Syria ,on top, improving the security situation.

 

He affirmed  that his meeting affirms  Egypt’s interest in the brotherly Syrian people and the historic relationships between them ,as there has always been important connection between Syria and Egypt in preserving the Arab security.
