FM travels to Washington for Egypt-US strategic dialogue

Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukri left Cairo Friday 05/11/2021, heading for Washington to take part in the strategic dialogue between Egypt and the United States.

 

The strategic dialogue deals with all aspects of bilateral relations and areas of cooperation in light of the strong ties between the two friendly countries.

 

It will also focus on the most prominent regional and international issues of mutual interest.

 

Shoukry is also scheduled to meet with his US counterpart Antony Blinken, administration officials, congressmen, and members of the most prominent think tanks, Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Hafez said in a statement.
