Syrian director Bassam al-Mulla died at 66

The great director Bassam al- Mulla, who is considered one of the most important drama directors in Syria and the godfather of al-Shamiya drama in Syria, passed away on Saturday at the age of 66 due to health crisis.

The Ministry of Culture and the Syndicate of Artists mourned the late, who was born in of Damascus in 1956.

He produced large number of Syrian series, including Ayam Shamiya, al-kishkhash, Bab al-Harah, and Souk al-Harir.
