Outstanding results for Syrian players at Arab Chess Championship

Damascus Countryside, SANA- After a Week Long Competition with the participation of 144 players from numerous Arab countries, Arab Chess Championship for male and female age groups concluded at Damascus countryside-based Sheraton Ma’aret Sednaya Hotel.

Palestinian, Lebanese, Iraqi, Kuwaiti and Yemini players have participated in this game, along with Syrian players.

The Syrian female winners at the competition are: 8-year-old Sham Hammoud ,14-year-old Sima Salama , in addition to 20-year-old Fatima Murad.

While the Syrian male players who obtained the gold medals are: 8-year-old Karim al-Atrash, 10-year-old Mazen Fandi,12-year-old Ward Hasan ,14-year-old Hamza Massoud, along with 18-year-old Rayyan Dib.
