The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) and Q Holding PJSC signed a cooperation agreement to strengthen their partnership in humanitarian fields.

The agreement outlines mechanisms for coordination and cooperation between the two parties and Q Holding’s role in supporting the ERC’s humanitarian and development efforts in the UAE and abroad. It also aims to promote corporate social responsibility and help coordinate charity campaigns.

The agreement was signed by Mohamed Youssef Al Fahim, Deputy Secretary-General for Support Services at the ERC, and Majed Fuad Mohammed Odeh, CEO of Q Holding.

The two sides expressed their eagerness to cooperate in advancing charitable and humanitarian work, exert further efforts to promote corporate social responsibility, create an advanced cooperation model between local humanitarian entities, and mobilise support for the ERC’s development initiatives.

Hamoud Abdullah Al Junaibi, ERC Secretary-General, said that the agreement highlights the ERC’s keenness to forge partnerships with institutions and corporations to develop relevant local and international initiatives and ease human suffering worldwide.

Odeh said the company looks forward to enhancing its cooperation and partnership with the ERC, highlighting the important role of such partnerships in providing the basic needs of people.
