Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Constantinos Kombos will pay a working visit to Athens on Thursday, his first since he assumed office.
According to a Ministry of Foreign Affairs press release, the newly appointed Minister will hold a meeting with his Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias, followed by extended consultations.
During the discussions, the Ministers will review bilateral relations, and this will be an opportunity to “reaffirm the excellent level of relations between Cyprus and Greece,” the press release says.
They will also exchange views on the Cyprus issue, developments in the Eastern Mediterranean, the Russian invasion in Ukraine, energy, the multilateral cooperation mechanisms, as well as a number of other issues of regional and European interest.
The two Ministers will later on make statements to the press.
