RAMALLAH, Wednesday, March 8, 2023 (WAFA) – The Ministry of Education has renewed its call to international human rights and humanitarian organizations to defend the Palestinians’ right to education and intervene to protect Jibb al-Deeb School (Challenge 5) in the Bethlehem area, which is threatened by the Israeli occupation with demolition.

The ministry indicated that the so-called Civil Administration began today the pre-demolition procedures for the school, which were conveyed two days ago.

It is noteworthy that this school, which serves 40 students from the first to fourth grades, was destroyed in 2017 and was rebuilt to emphasize the right of children to free and safe education.
