Relatively cold weather to prevail Thursday

Amman: Temperatures on Thursday are forecast to be around their seasonal average, with relatively cold weather prevailing in the highlands, while it will be fair elsewhere, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

 

On Friday, a slight rise in mercury levels is expected, bringing sunny and pleasant weather conditions in most regions, with northwesterly light winds.

 

Fair weather conditions will persist on Saturday with a 4-degree rise in temperatures. Clouds will appear at high altitudes, while winds will be southeasterly moderate to brisk.

 

Today, temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 17 degrees Celsius and a low of 7C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 25C, sliding to 16C at night.
