Baghdad Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani congratulated today, Thursday, his Kuwaiti counterpart, Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, on the occasion of his re-appointment as Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister’s office said in a statement that “Al-Sudani made a phone call with the Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait, Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, during which they reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries, and the growing areas of cooperation and partnership between them in various fields.”
Al-Sudani offered, according to the statement, “congratulations to his Kuwaiti counterpart on the occasion of his re-appointment as Prime Minister in the State of Kuwait,” referring to the “distinguished relations between the two brotherly countries.”
For his part, Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, according to the statement, “expressed his thanks to Al-Sudani, and affirmed Kuwait’s desire to strengthen the mechanisms of fruitful cooperation and coordination regarding many common files.”
