Saudi Arabia’s flag carrier Saudia, suspended Saturday all flights to and from Sudan until further notice, after its Airbus A330 plane was caught in crossfire at Khartoum International Airport before taking off to Riyadh earlier.
In a press statement, the national carrier said that its emergency team has immediately responded and is working, in collaboration with the Saudi embassy in Khartoum, with all relevant Sudanese authorities to get more information about the incident.
It added that more updates about the incident would be provided through its social media platforms later.
