A group of Israeli settlers carried out an attack on Palestinian civilians in the village of Mazra’a al-Gharbiya, located northwest of Ramallah, on Saturday evening, according to Palestinian security sources. The sources told WAFA the settlers broke into Na’lan area on the outskirts of the village and assaulted Palestinian residents who attempted to confront them. Luckily, no injuries were reported. The village of Mazra’a al-Gharbiya and surrounding areas have been experiencing repeated incidents of aggression by state-backed Israeli settlers. Some believe that these actions are deliberately aimed at provoking the local residents and making their lives difficult. Palestinian communities often report cases of harassment, assaults, and property damage attributed to Israeli settler groups, with protection and political cover for assailants from the far-right Israeli government and complicit Israeli forces. International organizations and human rights groups have often criticized Israeli settler violence in the West Bank, stating that it contributes to instability in the region.
