ASE Closes with Minor Decline Amid Mixed Trading Activity

Amman: The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) concluded its trading session on Thursday with a marginal decrease of 0.03%, closing at 2,403 points. The session reflected a mixed trading activity with varying performances across listed companies. According to Jordan News Agency, the trading session involved approximately 4.1 million shares, amounting to a total value of JD6.3 million. These trades were executed through 1,733 transactions, indicating a moderate level of market activity for the day. Among the companies that participated in the trading, 31 experienced a decline in their share prices. Meanwhile, 23 companies saw an increase in their stock values, and the share prices of 32 companies remained unchanged. This mixed performance highlights the diverse market conditions present at the ASE during the session.
