Damascus- A number of the wounded have arrived in Syria coming from Russia and Iraq to participate in the 1st “Wounded of Homeland” Sport Games to be held in Lattakia Province, along with the wounded of war operations in Syria.
The Russian delegation includes a number of the wounded and their companions as they will participate in weightlifting and table tennis competitions.
Lattakia Sports City witnessed on Friday the opening of the Sport Games with the participation of more than 100 of the wounded.
The “Wounded of Homeland” sports games will be held from August 20th to 25th.
