After a brief pause for maintenance work, the Ajloun Cable Car resumes operations and is once again welcoming visitors today, as announced by Arwa Hiyari, the Director of Development Zones. The popular tourist attraction had been temporarily closed yesterday for routine upkeep. Speaking to the Jordan News Agency (Petra), Hiyari said the cable car system plays a significant role in driving development and boosting tourism in the region. As a national project, its operation directly impacts Ajloun and the broader country, attracting thousands of visitors from both local communities, the wider Arab world, and beyond. Hiyari also took the opportunity to urge visitors to respect the site’s property and abide by the guidelines set out by the technical and administrative staff. She emphasized that adhering to these regulations ensures an enjoyable and safe cable car experience, thereby safeguarding the wellbeing of all patrons. Visitors to the site expressed their appreciation for the efforts of the Development Zones Administration and all relevant stakeholders in ensuring the safety measures are in place for this immersive journey through nature. They highlighted that Ajloun’s cable car ride is a unique and enjoyable experience within Jordan, in perfect harmony with the natural beauty and tourism potential that the region offers.
