AKAR MEETS EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT DELEGATION

Deputy Prime Minister, Caretaker Defense Minister and Acting Foreign Minister Zeina Akar, met Friday with a delegation of the European Parliament, chaired by MP Thierry Mariani.

 

Talks reportedly touched on the latest developments in Lebanon, in addition to the relations with the European Union, the displaced Syrians’ dossier, and the EU sanctions.

 

Akar later received Secretary General of the Lebanese-Syrian Council, Nasri Khoury.
