Baghdad The Arab Ministerial Committee concerned with following up Turkish interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries demanded Ankara, today, Wednesday, to withdraw its forces from Iraq, Syria and Libya immediately.
The media stated: “The claim was made during the meeting of the committee, on the sidelines of the meetings of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level in its regular session No. 159.
The committee affirmed the previous decisions of the League of Arab States regarding Turkish interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries.

It also called on the Turkish government to “respect the water rights of both Iraq and Syria, and to stop building dams at the headwaters of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, which negatively affects the water shares of the two Arab countries, in addition to the severe environmental and economic damage caused by these practices to both countries.”
The committee includes Egypt (chair of the committee), the UAE, Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States.
