Defense Minister and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces General Mohamed Zaki offered greetings to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on the occasion of the New Year 2023.
In a greeting cable he sent to the president on behalf of the Armed Forces, he wished Sisi good health and a happy new year, voicing hope that it will be a year full of joy, goodness and blessings for the homeland and its people and expressing appreciation for all the achievements made by the country under his leadership.
He also promised that the army will always be the strong shield that defends the nation’s interests and protects it against any threat.
Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Lieutenant General Osama Askar sent a similar cable to the president.
