Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Hneiti Tuesday inaugurated the command headquarters of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Rapid Intervention/High Readiness Brigade. During a ceremony attended by British Ambassador Bridget Brind, brigade commander Col. Nidal Husban gave a briefing on the tasks and duties carried out by the brigade, progress of operational, training and logistical programs and future plans to raise its efficiency and readiness. The army chief, accompanied by senior officers of the Jordan Armed Forces, toured facilities at the premises, which was newly built as part of a modernization and administrative development plan of various army units.
