JENIN: A Palestinian teenager was killed tonight during confrontations with Israeli occupation forces in the town of Araba, south of Jenin.

Citing medical sources, WAFA correspondent said that a 17-year-old teen, who was identified as Yamen Mohammed Husseti, died of critical gunfire wounds he sustained in the abdomen shortly after being shot by Israeli forces’ live bullet during confrontations that broke out in the town of Araba.

Confrontations reportedly broke out in the said area following a military incursion, during which forces fired live bullets heavily toward residents, shooting and injuring the 17-year-old youth.

According to eyewitnesses, Israeli soldiers left the teenager bleeding on the ground and prevented ambulance access to the site. Forces reportedly opened fire on the ambulance to prevent it from approaching and withdrew from the area once they made sure the teen was dead.
