Azhar University president praises army’s sacrifices to liberate homeland

President of Al Azhar University Mohamed el-Mahrasawi said that the brave soldiers of Egypt set a wonderful model of challenge and determination to liberate the homeland.

The anniversary of the 10th of Ramadan highlights the army’s sacrifices, he added during a seminar Sunday.

The Egyptian army will remain a fortress against anyone who plots to undermine Egypt or its capabilities, Mahrasawi said.

He stressed the strength of national fabric and cohesion in face of attempts of terrorist groups to spread violence, sabotage and sectarian strife, he added.
