London, Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Kingdom, Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, has hosted a lunch banquet in honour of Yemen’s Minister for Foreign and Expatriates Affairs, Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak, who is currently on an official visit to Britain, in the presence of Arab countries’ Ambassador to the UK.

Shaikh Fawaz welcomed the Yemeni minister, highlighting the interest of the Council of Arab Ambassadors of the League of Arab States in London in enhancing cooperation between Arab countries and the UK, as well as in following up on all Arab issues in the British political scene.

The meeting focused on the latest Yemeni development and the future vision regarding the political settlement there.

The Yemeni Minister referred to the Iranian interference in his country’s internal affairs, and the ongoing Houthi violations, calling on the International Community to put pressure on them.

Shaikh Fawaz stressed the support of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arab Ambassadors’ Council for the Yemeni and all Arab issues, expressing hope that the Minister’s meetings will reflect positively on the Yemeni-British relations.
