Bar association president dies at 84

President of the Egyptian Bar Association and Chairman of the Arab Lawyers Association Rajai Attia died on Saturday 26/03/2022 at age of 84.

EBA Board member Eissa Abu Eissa told MENA that Attia passed away while on duty at a Giza court.

Attia suffered from a sudden sickness and died on the spot.

The deceased graduated from the Faculty of Law in 1959 and worked as a lawyer to defend several important cases over six decades.

Attia had main contributions in public work and left behind scores of publications and books in legal, religious and literary fields.
