House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Tuesday received at the Second Presidency in Ain El-Tineh, Vice President of the Algerian People’s National Assembly, Moundir Bouden, accompanied by Algerian Ambassador to Lebanon, Rachid Belbagi, in the presence of ‘Liberation and Development’ bloc MP Qabalan Qabalan.Discussions reportedly touched on the general situation in Lebanon and the region, and ways to enhance cooperation relations between the two countries, especially in the legislative domains.Speaker Berri also met with Army Intelligence Director, Brigadier General Tony Kahwaji, with whom he discussed the security situation in the country.On the other hand, Berri congratulated the Lebanese, in general, and the Muslims, in particular, on the occasion of the holy Prophet’s Birthday.Berri hoped the holy occasion be a landmark for consecrating tolerance and affinity, and consolidating brotherhood as a solid faith, human and moral truth.
