LONDON: British Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs David Cameron said today that the British government is going to ban entry into the United Kingdom of those responsible for settler violence against Palestinians in the occupied territories.

‘Extremist settlers, by targeting and killing Palestinian civilians, are undermining security and stability for both Israelis and Palestinians,’ he said on X.

‘Israel must take stronger action to stop settler violence and hold the perpetrators accountable,’ he added, stressing, ‘We are banning those responsible for settler violence from entering the UK to make sure our country cannot be a home for people who commit these intimidating acts.’

Several European countries, in addition to the United States, said they are going to ban entry of Israeli colonist settlers responsible for violence against the Palestinians in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
