Cabinet holds weekly meeting in NAC to discuss number of files

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli presided over a weekly Cabinet meeting on Wednesday 23/2/2022 at the New Administrative Capital (NAC) to discuss an array of political, economic and social files.

A number of draft laws and important government decisions that aim at achieving progress at many levels, as well as realizing economic and social stability and encouraging investments will be tackled during the meeting.

The participants will also review work progress at national ventures implemented across the various governorates, including Hayat Karima (Decent Life) Initiative to develop the Egyptian countryside.

The latest developments related to the coronavirus and providing Covid-19 vaccines will also figure high during the discussions.

The meeting will also follow up on the implementation of directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi regarding a comprehensive social insurance, together with development files covering the State’s health, sports, education and transport sectors, in addition to measures to support limited-income brackets and meet citizens’ needs.
