Amman: The Jordanian Nursing Council (JNC) met with nursing directors at the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) on Sunday to discuss training for nursing associates at health centers in Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria.

The talks covered holding a 6-month training course in primary healthcare to boost nurses’ skills and understanding of evidence-based healthcare practices.

The course will target nurses and midwives working in UNRWA’s health centers in the four countries to maintain professional development, unify guidelines issued by UNRWA, and provide top-grade services.
