CPYP infographics highlights Egypt’s progress in women empowerment

The official page of the Coordination Committee of Party’s Youth Leaders and Politicians (CPYP) on social media published an infographic highlighting Egypt’s progress in empowering women in different positions.

The CPYP’s infographic states:

– Women in Egypt represent 50 percent of the total employees in the state administrative apparatus.

  -Percentage of women in the boards of directors of companies registered on the Egyptian Stock Exchange, rose to 11.6 percent in 2020.

 

–  Percentage of women in public sector companies, the percentage improved to reach 8.7 percent in 2020.

 

  -Percentage of women in Egypt having bank accounts increased 40 percent by the end of February 2020.

 

  -Women represented about 43 percent of human doctors.

 

  -Women represented 92 percent of the nursing staff working in the Ministry of Health and university hospitals.
