Riyadh, The Economic and Development Affairs Council held a virtual meeting today.
During the meeting, the Council reviewed a number of reports, presentations and topics on its agenda, including the presentation submitted by the Ministry of Finance regarding the quarterly report on the performance of the state’s general budget, which included details about actual revenues and expenditures, in addition to the actual expenditure on programs to realize the vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030, and the public debt situation until the end of the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 1443/1444AH (2022).
The Council discussed the presentation submitted by the National Center for Performance Measurement (Adaa) regarding the performance of public agencies for the fourth quarter (2022). The presentation included an update on the challenges and recommendations from the previous quarter, the contribution of ministries and public agencies to achieving the indicators and initiatives of the Kingdom Vision 2030, the general performance of indicators and initiatives, and the status of measuring all approved sectoral strategies, in addition to evaluating performance practices in public agencies and the most prominent recommendations.
The Council also followed up on the monthly update submitted by the Ministry of Economy and Planning regarding local and global economic developments and a presentation submitted by the Ministry of Health regarding the most crucial health developments.
The Council took the necessary decisions and recommendations regarding these issues.
