Egypt deplores attack on camp of displaced people in DR Congo

Egypt strongly condemned an attack on a camp of displaced people in Ituri province in northeastern the Democratic Republic of Congo, leaving scores dead, including several children.

 

According to a statement released by the Foreign Ministry on Thursday 3/2/2022, Egypt extended its sincere condolences to the Congolese government and the victims’ families, wishing speedy recovery for the wounded.

 

The statement stressed Egypt’s support for the Democratic Republic of Congo in confronting all forms of violence.
