Egypt and the United Nations stressed Saturday 12/03/2022 the importance of getting different countries more involved in the climate change file through decreasing their carbon emissions which cause global warming.
This came at a meeting between Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry – who was appointed as the president of COP27 – and Environment Minister Yasmine Fouad with Executive-Secretary of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Patricia Espinosa
The meeting is meant to discuss issues relevant to climate change, Foreign Ministry’s spokesman Ahmed Hafez said.
