Environment Minister Yasmine Fuoad met Sunday with a delegation from the Coordination of Parties Youth and Politicians (CPYP) as CPYP’s climate committee works on finalizing its strategy for the preparations of the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27), to be held in Sharm el Sheikh in November.
Fuoad expressed her desire to cooperate with the CPYP’s climate committee on raising awareness on the different environmental issues, led by the climate change, which enjoys great interest from Egypt.
The delegation greeted Fuoad on renewing confidence on her as minister of environment, and asked the minister to clear some key points relating to the Environment Ministry’s efforts to tackle the climate change file as well as its preparations for the COP27.
