Hasaka, SANA-A Syrian team for mental arithmetic from Qamishli city has achieved advanced positions at the European Mental Arithmetic Competition 2022

The competition was held online Germany with the participation of 400 students from 200 countries around the world.

In a statement to SANA reporter, Coach Rawda al-Muktif said that the Syrian team won the first, second and fourth places in multiplication and the third place in division.

She added that the competition is conducted on four mathematical levels: multiplication, division, subtraction and addition, and in each level the competition is conducted on ten levels.

She added that the Syrian team was distinguished by its quick-wittedness during the competition that takes place every year and in which a large number of children participate.
