The Israeli occupation forces today prevented a Palestinian farmer from working and reclaiming his agricultural land located along the new Hebron-Jerusalem road, near the town of Beit Ummar, north of the southern West Bank city of Hebron. Youssef Abu Maria, an activist, told WAFA that the occupation forces told the landowner and farmer that he cannot work on his land up to 600 meters from the Jerusalem-Hebron road, and seized an excavator. He said this order means that a large number of the town’s residents will not be able to work or reclaim their lands along more than two kilometers adjacent to that road, estimated at hundreds of dunums.
